I Am the Storm
I am the storm.
I am constant,
Even when I seem invisible,
When you do not hear me.
I rejoice. I rage.
I tremble. I lament.
I spill emotion in torrents.
I erupt with light;
Passion that erases pain,
Or fuels it further.
A whirlwind through heartbreak,
Or the cause of it.
I am the storm.
I am warmth and nurture.
I am the life that forces growth and evolution,
Destruction and change.
I am the storm.
I am steadfast,
Always standing.
I falter,
Yet I never fall.
I am here when you hide.
Existing in a furor that gives both hope and fear.
I am the storm.
I wail; I scream; I cry.
I conquer, translate, push, nestle.
I encompass; passion ablaze
Under my own rules.
I challenge.
I am the storm.
I cannot be harnessed.
I cannot be tamed.
I am the storm.
You will know,
My wrath, my calm, my heart.
I am the storm.
I am quiet; I am loud.
I am passion and life.
I am the rain, the wind, the snow, the sleet;
The driving force of a hurricane.
The storm that unites all of our nature into one;
That connects us.
I am the storm.
I can be none other than what I am.
I choose to be.
I choose to be the storm.
To be strength.
